Who doesn’t love cute nails? A cool nail color or design is the perfect accessory for any outfit. These designs are two of my favorites and so easy to do. The toughest part can be deciding what colors compliment each other. The color combo can make or break your design so I’ve decided to include some color pallets to assist you in selecting what colors to use. Have fun and get creative!!

Scripted Nail Design

1. Paint your nails white/cream 2. Soak nails in alcohol for five minutes 3. Press nails to map and hold 4. Paint with clear protectant immediately after it dries. - The Beauty Thesis:

Step 1 – Select which pieces you’d like to use from a map, newspaper, book, magazine, or any literature of your choice and cut out one inch squares. These pieces will serve as your design appliques.

Step 2 –Choose background color.. Whites and creams work best for this design but any light color will do. Paint nails as you normally would but DO NOT apply top coat. You’ll apply the top coat after applying the design.

Step 3 – Soak dried nails in rubbing alcohol for five minutes. Press your appliques faced down against nails and hold for approximately ten seconds.

Step 4 – Remove the applique and immediately apply clear top coat. It is important to do this step in its entirety ONE NAIL AT A TIME.
